Speech-Time.com Creates Online Public Speaking Community With Website Redesign
New headers, boxes, and resources give community easy access to public speaking information.
Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) September 29, 2010
Public speaking help and tips website Speech-Time.com announced today the creation of an online public speaking help community complemented by their new website design. Giving visitors the opportunity to create their own pages on the website by submitting speech topics, asking public speaking questions, sharing how they overcome fear of public speaking, or even sharing funny speaking stories, the website is quickly becoming the home of the best public speaking communities on the web.
Since the launch, people of all ages and backgrounds have visited the website to ask their public speaking questions and get answers. ?I?m in the 8th grade and trying to form ideas to write about in a speech contest that is a month away. The topic is optimism. Help?? asked one young person. The answer spoke of staying away from platitudes and making the speech itself an example of the topic. Below, Callmetv93 commented, ?I also am doing a speech on optimism for a contest. I started off by being with a contestant who was very nervous about his speech. Then after he quit I went on about how this contestant could be more optimistic. (?) Wish you the best of luck on your speech.?
There are more than 8th graders participating in the discussion, too. Others have asked about how to reduce hand trembling when speaking, eye contact, and audience analysis. A public speaking guest articles section gives people with experience the opportunity to help others with their public speaking needs ? current guest articles come from public speaking professionals, coaches, or people who just happen to have public speaking experience (one is written by the former director of a battered women?s shelter). In this way, everyone can participate in the discussion by asking questions, helping others, and then commenting on what everyone else is saying.
All community submission areas are linked from a special portion of the website titled ?Your Stories.? Every article and comment is personally reviewed before posting, ensuring that Speech-Time.com remains the foremost public speaking community on the web.
